E2. Roots, Shoots and Leaves An exhibit featuring foliage staged on open show table raised 75cm from the ground. Space allowed 68.5cm width 68.5cm depth. Height optional. Staging covered in black paper cloth. To be viewed and judged from the front.

E3. Donít Foam With Me An exhibit to be constructed without the use of floral foam staged on open show table raised 75cm from the ground. Space allowed 68.5cm width 68.5cm depth. Height optional. Staging covered in black paper cloth. To be viewed and judged from the front.

E4. Treasures From Trash A petite exhibit to incorporate an item that would normally be disposed of in the bin staged on open show table raised 75cm from the ground. Space allowed 25.cm width 25cm depth. 37cm height. Staging covered in black paper cloth. To be viewed and judged from the front. This exhibit can be brought ready- made.

E5. Ė Novice Class

(Novice class is restricted to any competitor who has not previously won 1st prize in any show judged by NAFAS rules)

Natures Gifts An exhibit staged on open show table raised 75cm from the ground. Space allowed 68.5cm width 68.5cm depth. Height optional. Staging covered in black paper cloth. To be viewed and judged from the front.

Floral Art Competition:

(1) For guaranteed space to be provided entries should be in the hands of the Show Secretary no later than 5.00pm Wednesday 12th August 2020

(2) Late entries may be accepted subject to space being available.

(3) Only natural flowers and foliage are allowed but need not be grown by the exhibitor.

(4) Judged to in accordance with current NAFAS 3rd edition competitions manual (2015).

(5) Tables must not be defaced in any way.

(6) All work must be done by the exhibitor, unaided in the venue with the exception of Class E4

  1. Any extra drapes, backing or foliage must be self -supporting.

(8) An exhibit is composed of natural plant material, with or without accessories, contained within the space specified in the show schedule. Natural plant material should predominate.

(9) Pre-done work such as weaving, pinning, stringing, knotting, gluing etc, used in the creation of an exhibit will be allowed. However, the assembly and completion of the design must be done unaided by the competitor in the staging of the exhibit.

(10) Aerosol cans/sprays, of any description, MUST NOT be used inside the venue.

(11) Clear water only manual powered atomizer sprays are permitted.

(12) Staging for Floral Art entries starts at 3pm on Friday 14th August 2020 Entries must be complete by 7.45 pm Judging will take place at 10.30 am on Saturday 15th August 2020

Prizes to be awarded at 4.pm on Saturday. No exhibits should be removed before close of show on Saturday 15th August 2020 at approx. 5 pm

Prize - 1st £10.00 2nd £5.00 3rd £3.00

NB. It is the competitors responsibility to protect their own safety and those around them by maintaining a clear working space and avoiding slips, trips or any other hazard by safe working practices.

Entry cost for each exhibit £1.00 (payment can be taken on the day)
