Attending classes with her sister Judith in the 1990s they then enrolled in 2006 for Floristry at Open College North West level 3 at Kirklees College and passed. Since then she has helped others enjoy the beauty of flowers by teaching at her local Community Centre, in her work as a florist for a well-known supermarket and of course through membership of Huddersfield Flower Club since 2016.

She loves the opportunity the club membership brings to enhance and develop her skills providing opportunities to explore wider flower networks and forge new friendships.
